Welcome to our little part of the interwebz.
Starting today you’ll be able to follow up on our opinions and experiences while we attempt to do something which is completely foreign to
us… plan a trip to Florida!
&Who knows, if all goes well we might undertake some similar adventures in
the future!
Anywho, first things first: let’s introduce ourselves,
shall we? We’re Robin and Bruce, two Belgians
who are about to explore the world outside our little country. Sure, we’ve
visited France, the Netherlands, England,…
but in Europe, nothing ever feels like a long
way from home. So this year, we've decided to take on a bigger adventure and
venture a leap across the pond to America. To us, American living is
something we only know from television shows or Hollywood
movies so it’ll be exciting to see how much of the
glitter and glamour holds up in real life.
There’s just one tiny problem: we’ve never planned a
trip this big so honestly, we haven’t the slightest clue where or how to begin.
We’ve decided to write down our findings so that –hopefully- some of you may
find it useful and/or entertaining to see our struggles as complete laymen
when it comes to travelling abroad.
